About Us
A Place for Financial Conversations That Matter
lotusminast was founded on a simple idea: that adults in midlife and beyond deserve thoughtful, unhurried financial education — without sales pressure or technical overload.

How lotusminast Came to Be
lotusminast opened its doors in Chiang Mai in 2017, born out of conversations between a small group of financial educators and retired professionals who noticed a gap: working adults in their forties, fifties, and sixties had genuine questions about retirement and estate planning, but nowhere calm and accessible to explore them.
The financial education landscape in Thailand often skews toward younger investors or toward high-net-worth clients with private wealth managers. Adults in the middle — people who've built a career and accumulated some assets, but who've never had the time or space to think carefully about what comes next — were largely overlooked.
Our founders wanted to change that. They designed a learning environment that moves at the pace of comprehension rather than commission — one where a participant can ask the same question twice, take time to reflect, and leave feeling informed rather than sold to.
Our Mission
What We're Here to Do
We help adults aged 40 and above build a clearer, more confident understanding of their financial landscape — so they can make thoughtful decisions about retirement, savings, and legacy without feeling overwhelmed or rushed.
People Before Products
We are an education provider, not a financial product seller. Our programs exist to inform, not to close a sale.
Dialogue Over Lecture
Every session is shaped as much by participant questions as by the curriculum. Open discussion is how real learning happens.
Local Understanding
Our content is grounded in Thai law and the realities of financial life in Thailand — not adapted from foreign templates.
The Team
The People Behind lotusminast
Our educators and facilitators bring decades of combined experience in financial planning, tax law, and adult education across Southeast Asia.
Siriporn Kamolrat
Founding Director
A financial planner and educator with over 22 years of experience, Siriporn founded lotusminast after observing how rarely mature-age adults received genuinely impartial financial guidance.
Pracha Tanawit
Senior Workshop Facilitator
Pracha brings 15 years in estate and succession planning law to the workshop room. He has a gift for translating legal complexity into language that participants can actually use.
Nattaya Wongkham
Investment Education Lead
Nattaya spent a decade at a Bangkok-based investment firm before moving into education. She leads the Investment Awareness Program with a focus on clarity and real-world Thai market context.
Our Standards
How We Hold Ourselves Accountable
Independent Curriculum
Our workshop content is developed internally and reviewed annually. It is not sponsored by any financial product provider or institution.
Data Privacy
Participant information is never shared with third parties for commercial purposes. We hold data only as long as necessary and in accordance with Thai PDPA requirements.
Legal Accuracy
All content relating to Thai tax law, inheritance, and estate matters is reviewed by a qualified legal professional before each program cycle.
Welcoming Environment
We actively design our physical and conversational environment to feel accessible, calm, and free from commercial pressure. All questions are welcomed without judgment.
Regular Content Review
Financial regulations, tax frameworks, and pension rules in Thailand change over time. We revise our programs whenever meaningful updates occur.
Participant Feedback Loop
We collect structured feedback after every workshop and use it to refine session flow, materials, and facilitation quality on an ongoing basis.
Financial Education Grounded in Thai Realities
Adults in Thailand navigating the transition from active working life to retirement face a distinctive set of questions. The interplay of Thai pension entitlements, family inheritance expectations, and a financial services sector that does not always communicate in accessible terms creates real complexity for those making long-term plans.
lotusminast addresses this by combining thorough financial education with a deep familiarity with the Thai context. Our educators bring direct professional experience in Thai financial planning, legal structures, and the market environment faced by adults in Chiang Mai and across the northern region.
The Nimmanhemin Road location reflects our commitment to accessibility within Chiang Mai's most connected neighbourhood — close to the city's professional and expatriate community, and well-served by public transport. All sessions are designed with an adult learning approach: conversational, paced for comprehension, and shaped around the genuine questions participants bring through the door.
